The Public Record Office has Registers for 1818 to 1830 only.
22 May 1943: George Patrick Dyer, bachelor, aged 23, a gunner in the Royal Artillery at Nettlebed Camp (Army No 1561535), to Kathleen Maud Howells, spinster, aged 18, an aircraft worker of Council Cottages, Stoke Row. Officiating Minister: Rev Thomas Wilson.
23(28?) December 1950: David James Carter, bachelor, bricklayer, of Stoke Row, to Doreen Patricia Gibbs, spinster, canteen assistant, of Stoke Row. Officiating Minister: Rev Thomas Wilson.
1952: Peter William Franklin, bachelor, of School Lane, Stoke Row, to Julia Mary Prictoe, spinster, of The Gas House, Rummer Hedge (no address in the book). Officiating Minister: Rev Theo Hewitt.
5 Apr 1958: Geoffrey Nordass to Rosemary Ann Fullbrook. Ray Townsend was best man. It was Easter Saturday and it snowed.
22 May 1968: Tim Kent to Jean Powell.
21 Jun 1969: Carole Lavinia Clark, of 11 Church View, married John Ian Dale, of Aston Upthorpe. Minister was Rev John Potts. A report in the Stoke Row News stated: "The bride, who was given away by her father (Dennis Clark), wore a long white french satin dress and train, trimmed with guipure lace. Her net veil was surmounted by a coronet of the same material and she carried a bouquet of pink roses and stephanotis. The matron of honour was Mrs Simone Clark and the bridesmaids were Miss Angela Richards and Miss Linda Dale, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Angela Hogg, cousin of the bride. The page was Master Mark Clark, brother of the bride. The reception was held in the Village Hall and the honeymoon was being spent in Looe, Cornwall."
8 Nov 1969: The wedding took place between Alan Perryman of Checkendon and Miss Joy Edwards at the Chapel. The bride was given away by her father, and the best man was Mr Colin Perryman. Joy wore a full-length white satin dress and carried a bouquet of pink carnations and freesias. A reception for 60 guests was held afterwards in the Village Hall. Mr and Mrs Perryman are to live at 22 Barnwood Close, Reading.
1978: Miss Elaine Woodward to Mr Martin Bulger. Married by Rev Bernard Railton Bax. Bridesmaids: bride's sister Sarah and Miss Sally Turner, daughter of next door neighbour.
Apr 1982: Mr Peter Anthony Fawcett, son of Mr and Mrs S G Fawcett of Winchmore Hill, London, was married to Miss Caroline Elizabeth Lockton, daughter of Mr and Mrs R W Lockton of Wootton Croft, Greys Road, Henley on Thames. The wedding ceremony was conducted by Rev Bernard Railton Bax.
5 Jun 1982: Mr Christopher Bartlett was married to Karen [Backer-Holst/Hulst ?] by Rev Bernard Railton Bax. This couple came to the Chapel, with their children and other relatives, to take photos on their 25th wedding anniversary, 2 Jun 2007.
26 Sep 1984: Mr Richard Sowter to Miss Anne Day. He was son of Hazel and Peter Sowter of Bridfield, Lambridge Wood, Henley, and she was daughter of Jean and George Day of London. The service was conducted by Rev Bernard Railton Bax.
22 Oct 1987: Wendy Jean Gooder, widow, teacher and organist, to Andrew Hawkins, bachelor, teacher.
7 Feb 1987: Gillian Carter, piano tuner, to Eric Green, carpenter.
25 Apr 1987: Deborah Clare to Terence Wardle.
2 Jul 1994: Naomi Green, of Milton Keynes, to 'Wild' Willy Barrett, guitarist.
4 Feb 1995: Karen Lyndon to Jonothan Shepherd, of Reading.
26 Aug 1995: Mair Slack to Craig Wise.
4 Nov 1995: Denise Morton to Richard Allen (now Morton-Allen).
29 Aug 1998: Moira Richardson to Peter Andrews.
5 Jun 1999: Julia Griffiths to Neville Varnham.
26 Jun 1999: David Steven Russell to Karen Allum.
